Located out the back door of The Waters of Minocqua, this state forest has six miles of trails that go through 80 acres of rolling hills and around a 25 acre lake.

Northwoods Waterfalls
Scenic waterfalls 60 miles north of Minocqua. View 10 different falls:
Foster Falls: The 10th highest waterfall in WI and drops 25 feet into the Potato River.
Gile Falls: A walking trail connects a snowmobile bridge crossing the top of this waterfall, with a scenic overlook near the road. Gile Falls drops about 15 feet into the West Fork of the Montreal River.
Kimball Falls: Enjoy the picnic area and rustic pavilion in the park on the Montreal River.
Peterson Falls: The 7th highest waterfall in WI, these picturesque falls drop 35 feet into the Montreal River. This is a remote location requiring hiking with map and compass.
Potato River Falls: The 4th tallest waterfall in WI, this fall is one of the highest and most picturesque in Iron County.
Saxon Falls: The 5th highest waterfall in WI, it is upstream from Superior Falls on the Montreal River.
Spring Camp Falls: This fall drops 20 feet into the Montreal River.
Superior Falls: The 3rd highest waterfall in WI, this fall drops 90 feet into the Montreal River near its mouth on Lake Superior.
Upson Falls:This small waterfall is a delight. Picnic area, pavilion, camping and children's play area are all available.
Wren Falls:The falls drop 15 feet into the Tyler Forks. Fishing is available.
